2025 RCHWF Scholarship

The RCH Wrestling Foundation Scholarship is a $1,500 award for recent Illinois,  Indiana or Iowa high school graduates who have wrestled for a minimum of 3 academic high school years and are in need of financial assistance to attend college or trade school.

Graduating, high school seniors who reside in Illinois, Indiana or Iowa, and who are accepted into an accredited four-year college, university, junior college, business or trade school in Illinois, Indiana or Iowa as entering freshmen or first year students are eligible. Students must have a 2.5 or better cumulative GPA, and evidence of at least district required service hours (optional). The RCH Wrestling Foundation Scholarship is open to all eligible students regardless of race, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

The Scholarship is a one time $1,500 award provided to the selected student(s). The student(s) may use the scholarship to assist in undergraduate or trade school related expenses such as payment of tuition, fees, books, equipment, room and board and/or travel to and from the school and home. At least one award is promised. The number of scholarships awarded depends on the funds raised during the year.  Recipients will receive notification of their selection by September 1st or March 1st (depending on when the application was received), and will be awarded the scholarship at a lunch, dinner or during an RCHWF event with RCHWF board members and 2 members of the recipient's family. The recipient(s) must be present at the lunch, dinner or event to receive the award.
